NGUYEN

Spinning everywhere from Los Angeles's Playboy Mansion to Canada's Fast Life and Body Rock with his signature sounds of uplifting House, Electro, Moombahton, and everything in between. With his impeccable timing and music selection he is sure to make any wallflower dance. Originally influenced by jazz and soul music, Nguyen has also brought his acquired taste for music to high profile events including The Oscars, The Grammy's, Sundance Film Festival, LA Film Festival, as well as events for Motorola, Burberry, Allure Magazine, Hennessy, Louis Vuitton, Redbull, Magic Tradeshow, Pool Tradeshow, LA Detour Music Festival, Coachella and Diesel Denim. During his early years in the industry, Nguyen has toured Europe in Paris, Spain and Germany. With residencies in LA, he has played alongside some world famous heavy-hitters such as Mark Farina, Collete, Mr. Choc, DJ Eleven, and bands such as Thieves Like Us, Junior Senior, Moving Units, The Roots and many more.

MARCELLE

Marcelle has quickly become recognized as a prominent figure in the Los Angeles nightlife scene. Spinning at top venues and high profile events all across Southern California, she is well- respected and sought after for her in-depth musical knowledge and unique mixes.

Unrestricted by genre or era, her extreme passion for music and broad tastes are evident. Starting off as a singer/songwriter who played guitar and piano, she taught herself Pro Tools and started producing her own electronic and electro-pop music. Already a fanatical collector of vintage records, DJing naturally followed after her first EP of orginal music landed on URB’s next list.

While recording in NYC, she began DJing alongside long-time pal DJ Mia Moretti and created remixes for Peaches, Katy Perry, The Asteroids Galaxy Tour, and Notorious B.I.G. that led to several residencies when she returned west. Garnering praise from both club-goers and industry professionals, she is now specifically requested for fashion shows, local festivals, and noteworthy events as both a DJ and a performing artist.

In just the past year, she DJ'd the stage for the hugely successful 2nd Annual Hudson Block Party and Sunset Strip Music Festival, opened for Posso, and performed with her band at the Moheak Radio LAxLA Festival.

When Marcelle is not out spinning or performing music, she is creating it. Currently, she is in the studio between sets recording a release titled LA FAIM D’EVE.

CHRISTIAN

Christian was born in Guatemala City, and in '89 moved to Southern California. In the early 90’s he fell in love with his father’s music (classic rock, Latin jazz, funk & soul), his mother’s music (80’s new wave & 70’s R&B) and the golden sound of hip hop he heard on the radio (KDAY & The Beat 92.3).  

In '95, Christian was introduced to the art of the DJing by 3 classmates who were DJs. From that day he was hooked and went hunting for his own pair of turntables. He eventually made a name for himself by playing parties, clubs & even some raves all throughout Southern California. In '99, he was introduced to the battle culture when he came across the 1991 DMC World Championship VHS. From that moment on, he focused on one goal and one goal only: making it to the USA DMC Finals. In 2012, he became a National Champion by winning the 2012 DMC USA Team Championships.

In 2013, he’s focused more than ever and back to rocking dance floors all throughout the West Coast with his keen musical sense & his world renowned turntable skills. He is also currently focusing on producing music as well as producing turntable routines that he will be releasing online on a for the world to see. For Christian, the music will never stop.

MARION

Marion is a DJ living in Los Angeles, California. She hosts a semi-weekly radio show on KCRW (89.9 FM in Los Angeles, and kcrw.com worldwide). Every third Tuesday of the month she contributes a live DJ mix to dublab.com. She's DJ'd live events for the L.A. County Museum of Art, the Sundance Institute, NPR West, and the Skirball Center. In 2008 she co-founded an all vinyl indiepop/Northern Soul dance party called Hungry Beat! Marion always strives to create the perfect mix for whatever event is at hand. Whether the situation calls for an indie/eclectic mix, all classic soul and R&B, and/or anything and everything in between; she's happiest when she's played a set that leaves you with a big smile on your face!

COURTNEY

Since 2009, Courtney has made her mark in the nightlife scene LA and Orange County to include Areal, Infusion Lounge, Verdugo, ENVY Ultra Lounge, Revolucion Cantina, Beauty Bar, Red Rock, The Den of Hollywood, Circle Bar, Coyote Lounge, Rocks Lounge, Florentine's and The Brig of Venice thanks to her passion for music and people. She has been known to be a multi-faceted DJ and MC who goes against the grain by introducing and re-introducing sounds that please the crowd. Whether it’s a hit from the past, a Top 40 song or a tune you’ve never heard before, Courtney is sure to take you on a musical expedition.

Courtney has provided sounds for an array of corporate clients including Activision, The Huffington Post, Orlebar Brown, Match.com, Microsoft, Victoria's Secret, Sephora, BareEscentuals, Converse, Best Buy, Red Bull, Torrid, CrossFit, 24 Hour Fitness, Zumba, HotHula Fitness, YMCA, American Cancer Society, in addition to other industries in education, non-profit and corporate. 

Whether it is adding the element of pizazz and fun to your event or getting the crowd excited, Courtney is sure to captivate and ‘dazzle’ you with her eccentric energy.

JAMES

Based in Los Angeles, DJ and producer James makes it a point to include "music fan" in any self-descriptions because for him it remains an enduring touchstone. Having a genuine love for how music is created and creatively played is what drove him to develop these passions into a profession in 2007.

Like most modern DJs a broad range of music selections are at his finger tips, but what sets James apart from many of his contemporaries is his inherent ability to keep an ear to the crowd and keep their enjoyment the focal point.

So whether he's playing to a feverish dance floor thirsty for the latest hits, or setting a stylized vibe in an intimate lounge, James is somehow always able to find the seam and do his thing. It's the kind of savvy that can only be achieved through experience and the sort of versatility crucial to helping create the best experience possible for any given occasion.

You can find James moving crowds at various venues and events throughout Southern California and currently his L.A. residencies include Circle Bar, The Wellsbourne, The Surly Goat, and Rush Street.

MATTHEW

Over the past 11 years Matthew has established a name and reputation for himself with his vast experience as a DJ and ability to bring great vibes into a space. Matthew has been heavily involved in the Los Angeles DJ scene with long standing residencies at some of the most successful venues in the city such as The Standard Hotel and Hotel Erwin where is the Music Director. He has a talent for weaving various styles and genres together that enhance the given environment and energy of the crowd. Whether it be a cocktail reception or an all night dance party, his diverse music selection can be tailored appropriately for any occasion.

MIKE

Since 2004, Mike has been bringing fresh cuts, classic old school, and party jams to hotels, lounges, rooftops, and poolside venues across Los Angeles. He is as comfortable spinning tunes at weddings as he is spinning at underground after-hours spots.
